 Upcoming Field Trips

Saturday, February 14th

If you love birds you'll love this Valentines birding trip.  We will check Woodway Park and the Speegleville area for early migrants such as swifts and swallows. Maybe we'll catch some Sandhilll Cranes going north.and we'll check out nesting areas for hawks, owls and eagles.   Meet trip leader E.G. White-Swift at 8:00 am in the parking lot at Equipment Depot.  We'll be done by Noon so you'll have plenty of time to buy that last minute present for your sweetheart!

Saturday, March 7th

OK, migration is really getting in to full swing in early March.  We will head up to Meridian State Park and listen for Golden-cheeked Warblers and any other migrant resting in the woods and wires along the way.  Meet trip leader E.G. White-Swift at 8:00 am in the parking lot at Equipment Depot and we will carpool.  Bring water,  a lunch and maybe an extra cookie for your driver!
