Upcoming Events

Each December the Central Texas Audubon Society participates in the Christmas Bird Count.  The count has been ongoing for more than 100 years and is the longest-running citizen science survey in the world.  Tens of thousands of participants know that it is a lot of fun.  All levels of knowledge and interest in birds are welcome to participate.

The Crawford, or western, count will be on Saturday, December 17, 2016; and the Waco, or eastern, count will be on Saturday, December 31, 2016.  If you are interested in participating or want more information, contact Annette Jones at plawaco@aol.com.
