Publications:

The Roadrunner is the official newsletter of the Central Texas Audubon Society. It is published seven times a year. As a member you have the option of receiving the current issue by mail or email. Past issues are posted to this page as well. Just click on the archived list to the right to view any of the last seven issues.

The Roadrunner enables our membership to be informed of speakers and programs at our general meetings, to share their current sightings and field endeavors. It also announces opportunities to volunteer at CTAS events and events conducted jointly with other organizations within our area.

Checklist of the Birds of McLennan County, Texas is in its sixth revision. The checklist was compiled by the Checklist Committee of the Central Texas Audubon Society. The committee remains active and will review any reports of unusual or rare birds it receives. Please use the Rare Bird Report to report rare or unusual sightings to the checklist committee. The checklist includes the status of 362 species recorded in the county since 1960, including nesting records of 114 species.
